
Generative AI startup 42Maru (CEO Dong-Hwan Kim) announced that it will participate in 'GOV:Tech 2025' held at SETEC Exhibition Hall 1 in Seoul on the 22nd and introduce the achievements and innovation plans of public AX (AI Transformation) based on generative AI that will lead the AI transformation in the public sector.
'GOV:Tech 2025' is a strategic conference themed on the digital transformation of public administration, a major side event of 'Worker Festa 2025', Korea's only business innovation convergence festival. From the first day of the event, August 21st, Forty2Maru will introduce its technology and application cases to general participants and public officials through an exhibition booth. On the following day, August 22nd, it will participate in the GOV:Tech 2025 event, attended by approximately 150 public officials from central government agencies, local governments, and public institutions, to share the achievements of the Public AX and highlight innovative plans.
At this event, Forty2Maru will introduce the generative AI-based public AX project, which is currently being carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, the Military Supply Command, the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, and the Busan Metropolitan City. Key examples include: ▲LLM and RAG-based services for government agencies; ▲Maintenance, repair, and legal Q&A systems within the Military Integrated Information System; ▲AI assistants for psychological counselors providing psychological care to the public; and ▲Busan City's generative AI platform based on civil complaints and policy documents. Through these field-based achievements, the company plans to emphasize that it is going beyond simple technology adoption and is revolutionizing the way public administration works.
Forty2Maru will also participate in a presentation session at the GOV:Tech 2025 conference. Forty2Maru Director Kwon Hyuk-seong will present practical examples of generative AI-based public affairs AX (AI Transformation), as well as technological strategies and innovation plans to expand its adoption across central and local governments. The conference will feature presentations from government agencies such as the Korea Regional Information Development Institute, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and the Gyeonggi Provincial Office, followed by private companies like Forty2Maru to share their experiences introducing AI in the public sector.
