
Save the Children Central Regional Headquarters (Director Shim Hye-seol) announced on the 20th that it signed a business agreement with Asan City Health Center (Director Choi Won-gyeong) to promote children's rights and expand early life health management projects in the Asan region.
This agreement was held at the Save the Children Chungnam Child Rights Center, and was attended by Team Leader Ahn Shin-hee of the Asan City Public Health Center and Director Sim Hye-seol of the Save the Children Central Regional Headquarters. The purpose of the agreement was to build a professional and sustainable support system and social support network to create a stable child-rearing environment and support self-reliance for families with pregnant women at risk by expanding the early life health management project service.
Asan City Public Health Center, a partner institution, has been operating the 'Early Life Health Management Project', in which experts who have completed specialized training visit pregnant women and families with infants under the age of two to provide customized health management services such as health consultations, infant development consultations, parenting education, and emotional support.
Asan City Health Center Director Choi Won-kyung stated, “We will do our best to collaborate with Save the Children in any way we can. We will continue to strive to help create a healthy growth environment for pregnant women and children in crisis.”
Save the Children Central Regional Headquarters Director Shim Hye-seol said, “Through this agreement, we will create a healthy child-rearing environment for families struggling in welfare blind spots, and in cooperation with the Asan City Public Health Center, we will identify pregnant women and children in crisis in the region and provide them with generous support.”
