The "2025 Global Content Conference," sponsored by Gyeonggi Province and co-hosted by the Gyeonggi Content Agency (President Tak Yong-seok) and the Korea Producers Association (Chairman Kim Jae-young), will be held on September 5th at the Champagne Hall of the Novotel Ambassador in Suwon. Speakers at the event include Runway, an American AI startup partnering with major Hollywood production company Lionsgate, and ReelShort, a Chinese company leading the global short-form market. Through sessions on AI and short-form content, they will showcase the changing landscape of the global content industry and showcase success stories.

In a special session, Won-Guk Kim, CEO of Hive Media Corp., who produced films such as 'Spring in Seoul' and 'The Man Standing Next,' will present on storytelling strategies that cross platforms and genres under the theme of 'Story, Crossing Boundaries: The Power of Stories that Transcend Platforms.'

Gyeonggi Content Agency Director Tak Yong-seok said, “AI and short-form content are fundamentally changing the way creators think and work,” adding, “I hope this conference will provide participants with an opportunity to digest trends in their own way and gain new inspiration.”

The Gyeonggi Content Agency and the Korea Producers Association will co-host the "Global Content Conference" starting in 2023, providing a forum for communication to strengthen the production capabilities of domestic and international broadcasters and content producers and expand their global networks.
