Graphy Co., Ltd. (CEO: Sim Woon-seop) announced that it participated as a principal sponsor at "VAO-WIOC 2025," held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from July 25th to 27th. The company plans to use this participation as an opportunity to accelerate its expansion into global markets, including Southeast Asia.
VAO-WIOC, Vietnam's first international conference on orthodontics and implant dentistry, merged the 7th Vietnam Congress of Orthodontists (VAO) and the 16th World Congress of Implant Orthodontics (WIOC). This year's event, attended by approximately 900 orthodontists from 18 countries, featured in-depth discussions on the topic of "Expanding the Limits of Orthodontics."
At the event, Graphy showcased the clinical effectiveness and technological prowess of its core technology, shape-memory material (SMA)-based transparent aligners. The lectures given by Professors Ravindra Nanda and Kim Ki-beom of the University of Connecticut in the United States drew particularly keen interest, with approximately 800 attendees.
Graphy was selected as the main sponsor for this event after competing with global brands such as Invisalign and AngelAlign. The VAO Organizing Committee stated that Graphy was chosen as the main sponsor because "the company possesses the technological prowess and distinctive capabilities to effectively communicate the event's message."
A company official said, “Participating in this Vietnam event was not just a simple product introduction, but an opportunity to confirm the possibility of advancing into neighboring emerging markets such as Thailand and Cambodia.” He added, “Vietnam is a strategic stronghold within the ASEAN market, and considering the growth potential and ripple effect of the orthodontic market, it will become an important base.”
