DK Tech Inc. (CEO Won-Joo Lee), a subsidiary of Kakao IT solutions development company, announced on the 13th that it has simultaneously obtained four types of ISO information security certifications, international standard certifications in the field of information protection.
ISO Information Security Certification is the most authoritative international standard certification in the field of information security established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). DK Tech has obtained ▲Information Security Management System (ISO 27001) ▲Personal Information Protection Management System (ISO 27701) ▲Cloud Security Management System (ISO 27017) ▲Cloud Personal Information Management System (ISO 27018) certifications.
ISO 27001 requires passing a total of 93 inspection items, including ▲information protection policy ▲access control ▲breach incident response management, and ISO 27701 requires meeting 49 guidelines required by the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR). By obtaining both certifications, DK Tech has been recognized for its global-level information management capabilities.
ISO 27017 and ISO 27018 are information security certifications that can be obtained by establishing preventive and response measures against information asset and personal information leaks in a cloud service environment. Various cloud-based services operated by DK Tech have met the data security guidelines for personal information.
DK Tech has already obtained the Information Security and Personal Information Management System (ISMS-P) certification for its cloud process management smart platform T-fac from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) in 2022, verifying its personal information protection capabilities and service safety.
Through these four international standard certifications, DK Tech has established a personal information protection system that satisfies both domestic and international standards, and plans to strengthen its competitiveness in the B2B market by providing a safe work and living environment based on this.
