Lydia AI Secures Strategic Investment

Lydia AI, a company specializing in digital health risk scoring (AI-based personal health risk prediction), announced on the 6th that it has secured a strategic investment from Kickstart Ventures, a Philippine venture capital firm. This investment is expected to be a significant turning point for Lydia AI's business expansion into Korea and Asia and for strengthening its health data-driven financial ecosystem.

Through this partnership, Lydia AI plans to help Asian companies, including those in Korea, leverage health intelligence to create meaningful customer experiences. In particular, as companies evolve into platforms that connect lifestyle, financial products, and the personal health lifecycle, Lydia AI is expected to play a key role in providing customized health and financial products.

Lydia AI leverages its proprietary digital health risk scoring technology to recommend personalized financial products, such as insurance, on platforms used in everyday life. This allows customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their health and financial plans, and access a variety of financial products through an intuitive and comprehensive health profile.

Lydia AI has already provided customized financial products that reflect users' health and lifestyle changes on Taiwan's Taishin Bank's Richart Life platform, and this year, it successfully collaborated with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance in the C-Lab Outside program hosted by Samsung Financial Networks.

“Lydia AI’s vision is to protect the health and prosperity of one billion people, integrating meaningful health insights into their digital journeys to help them develop healthy steps that fit their lifestyles,” said Anthony Lee, co-founder and CEO of Lydia AI. “Ultimately, we want to provide individuals with personalized value based on their health information.”

“We are excited by Lydia AI’s ability to integrate health and finance into the digital ecosystem, which is why we decided to invest in them,” said Minette Navarrete, President of Kickstart Ventures. “We look forward to enabling customers across Asia to access personalized financial products based on more accurate and meaningful health insights.”
