Dunamu, which operates the digital asset exchange Upbit, announced on the 31st that it had received a commendation from the Minister of Personnel Management and the Commissioner of the Military Manpower Administration in recognition of its active cooperation in government administrative work.

Team 3 of the Legal Affairs Division, dedicated to supporting law enforcement within Dunamu, has diligently fulfilled government agencies' requests for information, including information on their digital asset holdings. This recognition was given for its contributions to objectively verifying digital asset holdings and establishing a transparent management system.

The Ministry of Personnel Management awarded Dunamu a commendation from the Director of the Ministry of Personnel Management for its contributions to public officials' asset registration and review. A key contribution was its support for objectively verifying the consistency of information with actual data when reporting public officials' digital asset holdings and transaction history through the Public Service Ethics System.

The Military Manpower Administration (MMA) awarded Dunamu a commendation from its director for contributing to the accuracy and fairness of military service exemption reviews. Dunamu cooperated in providing data and verifying the digital asset holdings of individuals applying for exemption due to financial difficulties.

An Upbit official stated that with the number of domestic digital asset holders exceeding 10 million, digital assets are establishing themselves as a major asset class, and that they will continue to cooperate with various sectors of society to ensure that digital assets can become more transparent and trustworthy assets.
