Pluto (CEO Lee Jeong-su), an artificial intelligence data and solution company, announced that it officially attended the '1st Presentation of the Independent AI Foundation Model Project' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT held at the COEX Auditorium in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 30th and unveiled its high-quality data technology capabilities.
This presentation was an opportunity to reveal the interim results of a national project in which five consortium organizers, including Upstage, Naver Cloud, SK Telecom, NC AI, and LG AI Research Institute, participated. Approximately 200 government officials and industry experts attended, sharing the technological achievements and future directions of each consortium.
Pluto was the only official participant among the Upstage Consortium members, demonstrating its capabilities in building high-quality data. Pluto demonstrated its AI translation solution, "Chat Translation," by integrating the Large Language Model (LLM) "Solar open 100B" into a real-world service environment. The demonstration demonstrated that Solar open 100B, a Korean-specific model, demonstrated a competitive advantage over global big tech models.
Within the Upstage Consortium, Pluto provides comprehensive training and evaluation data. Drawing on years of experience building and operating multilingual data, Pluto supports high-difficulty training data, real-world evaluation data, and scenario-based quality verification data. In particular, high-quality data reflecting the Korean cultural background and context plays a key role in ensuring the Solar Open 100B model achieves global-level language performance.
