EasyPlus, Rootfinders' flagship solution, is a barrier-free portal platform developed to lower the barriers to information access for visually impaired people in the digital environment. It aims to improve accessibility and user convenience for the digitally vulnerable by reconfiguring smartphone content, such as news and games, to suit the needs of visually impaired users.
The platform features noiseless and image captioning technologies, which remove complex menus and ads from the screen and present only essential information. This allows visually impaired people to more efficiently utilize key smartphone content without assistance.
With this award, Rootfinders is focusing on enhancing core features and strengthening service stability ahead of EasyPlus's domestic launch. Furthermore, it plans to expand PoCs and partnerships that reflect feedback from visually impaired users, and to grow into a barrier-free portal platform that bridges accessibility gaps in everyday areas like shopping and content consumption.
