Xenon, a company specializing in generative AI solutions, announced on the 2nd that it had opened an AI agent pilot service based on its execution-type AI solution 'OneAgent' at Korea Central Power on the 31st of last month.
At a previous press conference, Xenon presented Actionable AI as a core strategy for the company's AX transformation and unveiled OneAgent as a solution to implement this strategy. Actionable AI refers to AI that goes beyond providing information to support the actual execution and completion of tasks. This project is the first example of applying this concept to a power generation business environment, demonstrating its effectiveness, and scaling it to commercial operation.
The executable AI agent introduced at Korea Midland Power is designed to handle a variety of tasks through simple commands. It automates repetitive tasks such as composing, replying, and forwarding emails, checking and summarizing schedules, and creating, editing, and deleting schedules, including summarizing unread and searched emails.
Natural language-based command functionality is also provided. When users enter commands in a conversational format, the AI agent interprets them and executes them immediately. For complex problem-solving, the system visualizes the thought process and provides the resulting results, ensuring the reliability required in public sector work environments.
The user interface has also been improved. By displaying various outputs, such as report results, source code output, and browser tasks, separately on the expanded right-hand side of the screen, workflow continuity has been improved.
The operating environment reflects the characteristics of public institutions, focusing on stability and management efficiency. The AI agent is provided as an installation on the user's PC and maintains the latest version through an automatic update system utilizing virtualized server infrastructure. Furthermore, it integrates with Korea Midland Power's existing integrated authentication system, eliminating the need for a separate login process.
Through this project, Xenon also enhanced existing services. It improved the performance of Korea Midland Power's specialized AI service, "Hi-KOMI," and provided technical training on MCP server configuration, API utilization, and debugging, helping to strengthen internal AI capabilities.
