Birinker, which operates the AI-based drawing management solution 'Birinker Cloud', announced on the 5th that its service has obtained ISO/IEC 27001 certification, an international standard for information security.
ISO 27001 is an international standard that comprehensively evaluates the management, technical, and physical security requirements necessary to protect information assets. Certification is conducted based on an organization's overall security system, including its information protection policy, access control, risk management, and incident response procedures.
This certification officially recognizes that Birinker has established a security management system that meets international standards for all drawings and manufacturing data handled in a cloud environment. Among solutions for managing manufacturing drawings in the cloud, achieving ISO 27001 certification is rare, and Birinker Cloud operates in the Amazon cloud environment, ensuring both security and stability.
Bilinker Cloud is a monthly subscription service that leverages AI to extract, store, and manage data within drawings. It offers a viewer for viewing multiple drawings simultaneously, drawing version management, access rights settings, and assembly drawing linking capabilities. This allows manufacturing sites to systematically manage even information not explicitly stated on drawings, and leverage drawings and data as core corporate assets.
A Biringer representative stated, "Domestic manufacturing SMEs often find it difficult to invest in separate security costs and personnel. Biringer Cloud is designed to provide a security environment that meets international standards simply by introducing the cloud." They added, "With this ISO 27001 certification, we plan to strengthen the reliability of our services to high-security companies and overseas customers."
