Dariemaker, a startup that operates the family-friendly workation service 'Dureundureun', has been selected for 'Newborn Penguin', an early-stage startup incubation program of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund. The selection date is June 19, 2025.
The 'Newborn Penguin Program' is a representative startup support project of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund that discovers promising startups early and supports them by linking them with guarantees and investments. Through this selection, Dariemaker has been recognized for its business growth potential and social value, and has secured various scale-up opportunities including guarantee support, investment attraction linkage, and follow-up growth support in the future.
Bridgemaker is proposing a service model that allows for work and childcare to be combined under the concept of ‘workation that allows childcare.’ It continues to collaborate with public institutions and private companies through customized solutions that allow children to be cared for during parents’ working hours, and in particular, it is putting forward a care program that reflects the Waldorf educational philosophy as a differentiating factor.
With this program selection as an opportunity, Dariemaker plans to expand cooperation with major regional bases across the country and promote the standardization of family-friendly workation models centered on the B2B and public welfare markets.
The company said, “As part of our sustainable family-friendly policy, we will expand workation and focus on providing practical alternatives for workers raising children.”
