BonAngels Investment Partners and Strong Ventures Invest in Laplace Technologies

Laplace Technologies, which operates the AI-based e-commerce data analysis SaaS service 'Laplace Analytics', announced on the 17th that it has completed a pre-Series A investment round. BonAngels Investment Partners and Strong Ventures participated in this investment.

CEO Park Byung-min evaluated this investment as a result of the simultaneous recognition of the company’s product competitiveness and marketability, and stated that in the future, the company plans to support more e-commerce businesses to make quick decisions based on AI analysis by adding data connectors and improving user experience. He also announced that the company plans to hire key talents in the data engineering field to develop advanced AI products.

CEO Park understands the entire process of connecting complex data and turning it into a product based on his experience building a decision-making system based on structured data in the financial sector and his experience working on big data engineering at Kakao. This background is in line with the direction of development of the 'e-commerce AI agent' that Laplace Analytics is aiming for.

Noh Ho-jeong, a senior partner at BonAngels Investment Partners, said, “We invested in Laplace Technologies because we judged it to be a company that goes beyond simple data analysis and has the ability to collect and process customer data in real time, leading to product improvements.”

Strong Ventures Director George Yoon said, “Laplace Technologies is quickly securing product-market fit (PMF) by simultaneously achieving a 15% growth rate in monthly recurring revenue (MRR) and quarterly surplus,” adding, “We invested in the company with a high evaluation because it is a team that has proven growth momentum based on tangible indicators.”
