Jeju Center Holds 'BM Advanced Workshop and Networking Meetup Day'

Jeju Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (hereinafter referred to as Jeju Center) announced that it held a 'BM Advanced Workshop and Networking Meetup Day' for 28 companies selected for the '2025 Preliminary Startup Package' at the Ocean Suites Jeju Hotel in Jeju City for two days from June 16th to 17th.

This event was planned to enhance the business models of selected companies and support the formation of networks between companies. The 'BM Enhancement Program' focuses on establishing customized scale-up strategies for companies through systematic analysis of business models and expert advice, while the 'Networking Meetup Day' aims to establish a foundation for cooperation through exchanges and information sharing between companies.

On the first day of the event, the 16th, a group training format lecture and practical training were conducted. The main contents covered customer definition, target market analysis methods, etc., and then a group business plan self-diagnosis and business model concretization workshop followed. Through the practical training, participating companies learned how to set business-related key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish specific operational strategies.

On the second day, the 17th, a networking-focused meetup program was held. In addition to the networking session between the selected companies, representatives of senior companies selected in the past pre-startup package attended to give lectures and provide advice. At the event, Kim Min-seok, CEO of Shinji Games (selected in 2021), Lee Hang-young, CEO of Big Uncle Company (selected in 2023), and Koh Dong-woo, CEO of Island064 (selected in 2023) participated and shared their startup experiences.

Meanwhile, on May 27, Jeju Center selected 28 prospective startup companies with technology startup items linked to Jeju strategic industries. The selected companies will receive initial funding of approximately 20 million won for market research and MVP (minimum viable product) production to specify the business model (BM). After that, additional support of up to 40 million won will be provided after evaluating the progress of the business in the middle stage of the agreement.
