Law & Company Acquires 'Rotime Biztech'

Comprehensive legal tech company Law & Company announced that it has signed a contract to acquire a 100% stake in Lawtime Biztech, a legal affairs management solution specialist, and will accelerate the digital transformation of legal services. The acquisition amount is undisclosed.

Through this acquisition, Law & Company plans to build a next-generation integrated legal platform that can encompass a wide range of users, from large law firms to small and medium-sized law firms and individual lawyers, by combining its legal AI technology with Lawtime Biztech's business management solution.

Based on its deep understanding of Rotop’s functionality, user base, and workflow specialized in the legal industry, Law & Company plans to organically link with existing AI-based legal services. Currently, Law & Company operates the legal consultation portal ‘Rotalk’, the integrated legal information service ‘Big Case’, and the AI legal secretary ‘Super Lawyer’, and continues to invest in the development of related technologies through the Legal AI Research Institute established in 2019.

With this acquisition, Law & Company plans to accelerate the construction of an integrated platform covering areas such as ▲legal consultation ▲legal information ▲business management ▲AI assistance. A promotion offering 'Big Case Plus' and 'Super Lawyer' vouchers to paid users of Lotop will also be held.
