
Jeju International Free City Development Center (hereinafter referred to as JDC) signed a business agreement with Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Police Agency (hereinafter referred to as Jeju Police Agency) on June 9 for crime prevention and victim protection/support in the province.
The main contents of the agreement include various detailed support contents such as public relations for crime prevention, healing programs for at-risk children and youth, and integrated support for foreign victims of crime, and the two organizations plan to promote close cooperation in each field through this agreement.
Jeju Police Agency Chief Kim Soo-young said, “This business agreement will provide an opportunity for socially vulnerable people who are in a critical situation due to economic difficulties and other blind spots to receive timely support, and will be an opportunity to open a healthy tomorrow.”
JDC Chairman Yang Yeong-cheol said, “We will continue to work with the Jeju Police Agency, which is responsible for Jeju’s public safety, to contribute to creating a safe social environment for Jeju residents.” He added, “In addition to social contribution activities with the Jeju Police Agency, JDC will always take the lead, actively participate, and spare no support in support activities for various classes in the province.”
