Vibe Company and Ministry of Foreign Affairs jointly win contract for ‘Intelligent Diplomatic Security Data Platform Construction’ project

AI and big data specialist Vibe Company announced on the 5th that it has jointly won the contract for the ‘Intelligent Diplomatic Security Data Platform Construction’ project promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a key technology partner of the consortium led by LG CNS. This project is worth a total of 30.1 billion won, will be carried out over three years, and Vibe Company’s participation stake is 28%.

This project aims to integrate the information systems between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters and overseas missions around the world into a cloud-based system and to introduce generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology to increase the speed of responses to diplomatic issues and the consistency of policy formulation.

Based on its own large-scale generative AI model, 'VAIV GeM3', Vibe Company provides various technologies such as: △Diplomatic document automation, △Multilingual issue summary and translation, △RAG (search-based generation)-based intelligent search and question-and-answer, △Diplomacy-specific dataset structuring (ontology and vector-based), and △Advanced security response based on Knowledge Management System (KMS).

Participation in this project was based on the public sector AI technology and diplomatic field experience that Vibe Company acquired while carrying out the 'Overseas Information Government-wide Utilization System Based on Cloud for Overseas Missions' project in the past. Vibe Company also plans to promote platform architecture design and construction of a multi-LLM (large-scale language model) operating system through technical collaboration with LG CNS.

Through this project, Vibe Company plans to strengthen the AI utilization base of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and further expand the scope of technology application to include advancement of AI platforms specialized for diplomacy, expansion of public services, and multilingual multimodal services. The project will be carried out until 2027.

Kim Kyung-seo, CEO of Vibe Company, said, “This contract is not just a simple introduction of technology, but a strategic turning point for public service innovation and the realization of national AI policies.” He added, “We will faithfully fulfill our role as a key technology partner for the AI-based evolution of the national diplomatic system.”
