Krafton wins grand prize at India's 'Curious'

Krafton Inc. has won a total of 64 awards at the 'Kyoorius Creative Awards (hereinafter referred to as Curious)' and 'ABBY Awards (hereinafter referred to as ABBY),' which are India's advertising and creative awards ceremonies. These awards are an achievement that demonstrates Krafton and 'BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (hereinafter referred to as BGMI)' have presented new possibilities in the creative industry beyond games, and further demonstrated their brand influence in India.

The 'Curious' awards ceremony was held in Mumbai, India on the 24th of last month, and Krafton achieved the feat of winning 10 awards in the Blue Elephant category, 20 awards in the Baby Elephant category, and 26 awards in the First List.

The major award-winning campaigns include ▲Thoda Time Thoda BGMI (a limited-time game mode campaign consisting of short and impactful content), ▲Malayalam Ad (a local emotional advertisement targeting the Kerala region of India), ▲UC Prank (a one-day prank campaign that induces user participation and spontaneous spread), ▲Live the Battlegrounds (a campaign that combines daily life in India with high-quality VFX), ▲Doomtroopers (a 24-minute cinematic video containing the community’s worldview), ▲Seriously Fun (a humorous campaign that expresses BGMI as a cheerful companion in everyday life).

In particular, the Live the Battlegrounds and Doomtroopers campaigns were planned and produced directly by Krafton's internal organization, drawing attention for presenting high-quality creatives without the need for an external agency.

At the 'Abby' awards ceremony held in Goa, India on the same day, Krafton won 5 silver awards, 3 bronze awards, and was nominated in a total of 22 categories, proving its status within the Indian creative industry.

The major award categories are ▲Digital (15~30 seconds video): Bronze ▲Digital (30~60 seconds video): Silver ▲Digital (60 seconds or longer video): Silver ▲Overall digital video category: Bronze ▲Digital Craft – Creative use of video: Silver ▲Branded content & entertainment: Bronze ▲Audio/visual content under 1 minute (corporate, media, entertainment category): 2 Silver Awards.
