The '2025 Gyeonggi Level Up' pitching day event hosted by the Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency (hereafter referred to as Gyeongconjin) was held for two days from May 8 to 29 at the Gyeonggi Cultural Creation Hub in Pangyo. The event was held for the purpose of discovering promising content startups in Gyeonggi Province and supporting their connections with private investment, and a total of 65 companies that passed the preliminary screening participated and gave corporate briefing (IR) presentations.
This pitching day was divided into four categories: ▲Level Up Seed Category (20 companies), ▲Virtual Convergence Seed Category (8 companies), ▲Level Up Pre-A Category (10 companies), and ▲Virtual Convergence Pre-A Category (8 companies). Of these, a total of 46 companies were ultimately selected as targets for investment attraction support.
The event was judged by a panel of about 40 judges from the Gyeonggi Level Up Invest Partners (G-VIP), a private investment network that has signed an agreement with Gyeonggi Investment & Securities, and evaluated each company based on its growth potential, marketability, and technology. The participating companies received practical feedback from investment experts and had the opportunity to build a field-oriented investment network.
The selected companies will participate in customized growth support programs such as networking with private investors, corporate diagnosis, and consulting on business model advancement. In addition, they can expect direct and indirect investment opportunities worth a total of more than 1.1 billion won through the 'Gyeonggi Level Up Fund' (No. 2 and No. 3) operated by Gyeonggi Convergence.
Kyungkonjin CEO Tak Yong-seok said, “This pitching day was an opportunity to directly verify the marketability and growth potential of content startups,” and added, “We will do our best to support the continuous growth of startups through connections with the private investment ecosystem.”
