Tweeny is selecting partners one after another and is actively pursuing entry into the overseas automation market.
Twiny (CEO Hong-seok Cheon and Young-seok Cheon) announced on the 30th that it signed a business agreement for establishing a strategic partnership with Thai robot system integration (SI) company ‘VRNJ’ in Bangkok, Thailand on the 29th.
Under this agreement, VRNJ will supply autonomous robots and operational solutions developed by Tweeny to the Southeast Asian factory automation market, including Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Tweeny develops and supports customized robots for each local customer together with VRNJ.
VRNJ is a joint venture established by VRI (CEO Chawat), a subsidiary of Thai auto parts manufacturer BKF and a factory automation SI specialist, and ITNJ (CEO Hee-jong Yang), a Korean AI-based machine vision and quality inspection solution company. It recently signed a contract to supply collaborative robots to a large domestic company A, and is emerging as a key partner driving digital transformation and automation expansion in Southeast Asian manufacturing sites.
Prior to this, Twiny established partnerships with Acetech, Intacsolution, etc. to conquer the domestic and international logistics automation market. It was decided to expand carrying and order picking through the distribution networks of these companies.
Cheon Yeong-seok, CEO of Twiny, said, “We are actively seeking out partners that can help us enter the overseas automation market to expand Twiny robots,” and “This collaboration with VRNJ will be a great help in finding factory automation customers in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, where demand for automation is continuously increasing due to a shortage of manpower.”
Meanwhile, Tweeny participated in the '2025 Korea-ASEAN Service Tech and Smart City Day' held in Bangkok, Thailand for three days from the 28th to the 30th through the Overseas Cluster Exchange and Cooperation Support Project of the Research and Development Special Zone Promotion Foundation, and sought cooperation with various companies such as VRNJ to establish a local bridgehead in Southeast Asia.
