Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy) has released the June schedule for ‘W-DAY’, a Busan-style workation networking program.
'W-DAY' is a Busan-style business workation networking event where workation participants from various occupations gather every Wednesday at the workation hub center to share insights and discover practical collaboration opportunities. It aims to form meaningful relationships and activate the community within the startup ecosystem.
This June event will consist of a total of 4 schedules: ▲Startup (1 time) ▲IT (1 time) ▲Local (1 time) ▲Community (1 time), and there will be experience sharing by experts in each field and networking among participants. The main programs are as follows.
▲ National contract law, national litigation, and administrative litigation that global basic startups should not miss Kim Han-sol, Director of Innovation Administration and Legal Affairs, Defense Acquisition Program Administration
▲ “I code my dreams” author Seo In-ho, a visually impaired current developer
▲ Experience making Samjin fish cake (only available to workation participants)
▲ 71st Dandy Venture Forum with Busan-type workation collaboration event
Last May, a session was held with Junhee Babo, a planner working for a large entertainment agency SM Entertainment, through 'W-Marketer DAY', and he shared the secrets of working for a large entertainment agency while also doing volunteer work, as well as the method of practicing branding. Also, during the networking time, a lucky draw event was held where autographed albums by artists were prepared as prizes, which received a hot response on site.
Regarding this, PM Moon Kyung-ryun said, “The June W-DAY is an opportunity to experience insights from different fields compressed into one month,” and “You will be able to feel a place for sustainable networking through content experiences and collaborative community events linked to local resources as well as business collaborations.”
Meanwhile, following last month, two new tourism programs were added this June to allow participants to experience local cultural content in addition to networking.
A new product, 'Yachtada + Drone Show', which includes a drone show, has been added to the existing Yachtada product, and a 'Reformer Exercise One-Day Class' that combines Pilates and weights has been added as a tourism voucher product, allowing participants to experience the true value of a 'workation' where they can enjoy work and leisure at the same time. Anyone can participate in W-DAY, and applications and detailed information can be found on the official Busan Workation website.
