
Gyeonggi Content Agency (hereinafter referred to as Gyeonggi Content Agency) announced that it held the '2025 2nd Gyeonggi Province Future Technology AI Game Activation Forum' at Hall 5A of KINTEX 1st Exhibition Center in Ilsan on May 22.
This forum was organized to explore the current status of AI technology use in the gaming industry and its future development direction, and to encourage the spread of AI technology across the industry. The slogan was “Collaboration with AI, as easy and enjoyable as a game,” and the event was attended by a total of 260 people, including AI experts, gaming industry workers, and prospective entrepreneurs.
The forum consisted of case presentations and panel discussions. In the case presentation session, domestic game developers shared cases of AI technology utilization applied to actual projects. ▲ Neowiz Team Leader Choi Sung-hoon presented AI technology cases utilized in game image creation and service operation under the topic of 'Playing with AI Production and Operation – From Creation to Analysis'. ▲ Exogames CEO Yeom Eui-jun introduced 'A Case of Creating a Bot AI Agent Using Unity ML-Agents' and shared his experience utilizing AI in the production of his self-developed game 'Squid Wars'. ▲ Banjigames CEO Lee Yu-won explained experimental game development cases based on AI under the topic of 'Creating a Never-Before-Seen Game with AI – The Development of Fakebook'. ▲ NCsoft AI Center CTO Kim Min-jae presented 'Cases of Utilizing AI Technology in the Game Industry' and introduced specific utilization methods of AI technology applied to large-scale projects.
In the panel discussion that followed, experts from the public, private, and academic sectors participated and discussed the scalability, accessibility, and ethical considerations of technology utilization under the theme of “AI Technology: Games Anyone Can Make and Enjoy.”
A K-Conference official said, “This forum was organized around AI cases actually applied by game developers of various sizes, providing vivid information,” and “It was a meaningful event that presented the practical possibilities and direction of AI technology in the game content industry.”
