
Studio MetaK (CEO Gwangjip Kim), an artificial intelligence (AI)-based content IP production company, announced on the 29th that it had attracted a total of 3 billion won in Series A investment. This investment is the result of securing an additional 1 billion won from Timeworks Investment following the 2 billion won investment from Korea Investment Partners.
Studio Metakey is leading innovative changes in the content industry, with AI-based content production technology and virtual human technology as its core competitiveness. In particular, it focuses on increasing production efficiency and maximizing creativity in various fields such as dramas, movies, advertisements, and music videos using generative AI technology. It provides high-quality content that is difficult to distinguish from actual filming, and presents a new solution to the drama production industry, which has been struggling due to the burden of recently rapidly increasing production costs.
With this investment, Studio Meta K plans to not only advance AI technology and expand content production infrastructure, but also establish a global marketing strategy. Through this, the company plans to expand its business areas to various content fields such as advertising, movies, music videos, and virtual humans, in addition to drama production.
Studio Meta K is the first company in Korea to be a comprehensive content studio combining AI and content IP. Its technological prowess has been recognized and it has been selected for various support projects, including ▲TIPS by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, ▲NVIDIA's Enup & Inception, and ▲Korea Creative Content Agency's Investment-linked Startup Leap Forward Project. It has secured a total of over 3.5 billion won in support funds and is actively conducting collaborative projects with major domestic broadcasters and companies.

Studio Metakey plans to use this investment to accelerate the evolution of AI technology and solidify its position in the global content market.
