
The World Class Enterprise Association (hereinafter referred to as the World Class Association) held the first half of 2025 corporate exchange meeting.
This event, held on the 27th at the Seocho L Tower in Seoul, was organized to promote sustainable growth of small and medium-sized enterprises and share promising future technologies in a rapidly changing global economic environment.
In this exchange meeting, seven technology innovation startups from various fields participated and introduced their core technologies and business models, and around 40 CEOs and executives from member companies of the World Class Association attended and gained insight into promising future technologies.
JJNS, a company specializing in soundproofing materials, introduced lightweight soundproofing materials for electric vehicles and emphasized their potential for use in various industrial fields, such as inter-floor noise reduction and electromagnetic wave shielding.
EFM, a high-performance tape manufacturer, announced its expansion strategy in the high-precision industrial tape market, including semiconductors and secondary batteries, based on its own designed urethane adhesive resin.
DATON, an AI behavioral analysis platform company, introduced an AI solution that performs data center power monitoring and anomaly detection based on its self-developed Boltzmann Machine (RBM)-based AI engine.
In addition, ▲Kookmin Bio, a company that provides obesity treatment solutions using functional lactic acid bacteria, ▲BrainU, which provides brainwave-based concentration improvement solutions, ▲Q Genetics, which is developing new drugs to treat metabolic diseases, and ▲Teracle, which recycles PET plastic into eco-friendly raw materials, were among the presenters who attracted great attention from the attendees.
In the following program, Adrian Lacroix, Counselor at the Belgian Embassy in Korea and the Wallonia Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, explored the possibility of global cooperation by explaining how to participate in Horizon Europe, the world's largest research and innovation program of the European Union (EU), and Belgium's corporate support policies.
An official from the World Class Enterprise Association said, “This exchange event was organized to open a venue for mutually beneficial cooperation between startups with technological prowess and global scalability and member companies,” adding, “We will continue to prepare various programs that can provide real business opportunities to member companies.”
