Otech participates in '2025 International Fire Safety Expo'.. "4 types of special ambulances exhibited"

Otech Co., Ltd., a domestic special purpose vehicle manufacturer, announced on the 26th that it will participate in the '2025 International Fire Safety Expo' held at Daegu EXCO from May 28th to 30th and exhibit a total of four special ambulances. The exhibited vehicles include the 'Improved Military Ambulance' jointly developed with Kia Motors.

As part of the Civilian-Military Technology Cooperation Power Support System Development Project hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Otech began developing the military ambulance together with Kia Motors in 2021. The vehicle is scheduled to undergo a military operational suitability assessment and final evaluation in December 2024, with the project ending soon.

In addition to this, Otech will also be presenting the ▲'Starria Fire Special Ambulance' with enhanced mobility and practicality, ▲'Solati Negative Pressure Special Ambulance' with a spacious interior and infectious disease response functions, and ▲'ST1 EV Ambulance Concept Car', an eco-friendly ambulance based on an electric vehicle, at this exhibition.

An Otech official said, “Through this exhibition, we were able to introduce cases where our special vehicle technology is being utilized across both civilian and military sectors,” and “We plan to continue to expand Otech’s technological capabilities in various fields, such as military medical systems, infectious disease response, and electric vehicle-based emergency systems in the future.”
