Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy) announced on the 26th that it was selected as the 'Best' and 'Excellent' hosting organization in 2024 for the Early Startup Package and Preliminary Startup Package projects, which are managed by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Startup Promotion Agency.
Busan Changgyeong leads the startup support project and has supported more than 250 prospective entrepreneurs through the preliminary startup package from 2019 to the present, and has discovered and supported more than 80 early-stage entrepreneurs through the early-stage startup package from 2023 to the present.
Last year, the preliminary startup package achieved sales of approximately KRW 1.2 billion, attracted KRW 10 million in investment, and created 45 new jobs. Through the initial startup package business, the company achieved sales of approximately KRW 28 billion, attracted KRW 4.2 billion in investment, and created 81 new jobs.
Busan Changgyeong plans to continue to actively support startups and prospective startups this year, following last year, by discovering them and providing commercialization funds and specialized programs for leading organizations to entrepreneurs with innovative technologies and business models.
