Green Umbrella Chungnam Regional Headquarters announced that it signed a business agreement with the Salvation Army Areumdri & 1308 Crisis Pregnancy Counseling Chungnam Regional Counseling Center (hereinafter referred to as Chungnam Regional Counseling Center) to establish a support system for crisis infants and crisis pregnant women.
Green Umbrella provides support for medical expenses, housing expenses, and emergency living expenses for infants under 36 months of age who are born into families at risk due to being teenagers, foreign parents, the disabled, or single and are experiencing a crisis in raising their children in their original families.
Through this agreement, the three organizations will establish a support system to enable infants to grow up more safely in their original families by providing postpartum care for pregnant women in crisis, counseling for guardians, and parenting coaching in addition to emergency support.
Kim Woo-hyun, the head of headquarters, said, “The crisis infant support project is a key project of Green Umbrella, and we will continue to work closely with the partner organizations to support infants and crisis pregnant women in need of help from the local community.”
In response, Director Kim Mi-sook said, “I hope that a more stable environment will be created for children by including support for not only infants but also for improving the parenting skills of guardians and for their psychological stability.”
