Graybox, which operates the CRM (customer relationship management) marketing automation solution 'Notifly', announced on the 20th that it has attracted pre-Series A investment from Schmidt and Mashup Ventures.
Notifly is a CRM solution that can integrate and manage various marketing channels such as app push notifications, Kakao Talk notifications, Kakao Friends Talk, pop-ups (in-app messages), email, and text messages. It collects customer behavior data in real time, automatically sends personalized messages, and even provides performance analysis functions.
Last April, Graybox introduced the ‘User Journey’ function, which enables automation of marketing scenarios based on user behavior and attributes without writing code through integration with Naver Shopping and Cafe24. It also supports integration with data analysis platforms Amplitude and Mixpanel to increase corporate marketing efficiency.
Regarding this investment, Graybox CEO Lee Min-yong said, “As the importance of customer retention and reactivation is increasing in the CRM market, the need for a domestic solution optimized for this is becoming more prominent.” He continued, “Based on this investment, we plan to hire key talent such as AI engineers and dedicated client managers, and launch new features this year that enhance marketing efficiency by advancing AI-based customer behavior analysis functions.”
Mashup Ventures Growth Partner Seung-guk Lee, who participated in the investment, evaluated Graybox as “a team with the technology to reliably process large-scale real-time messaging and user data,” adding, “It has a sophisticated product design tailored to domestic channels and user environments, allowing for easy adoption, and so it has great potential for future growth.”
