Smart Radar System Signs Development and Supply Agreement with Intusky for Drone Radar System

Smart Radar System Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Smart Radar System, CEO Yong-Hwan Kim), a 4D imaging radar specialist, announced on the 15th that it has signed a development and supply contract for a drone radar system with drone specialist Intusky Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Intusky, CEO Seon-Woong Jeong) .

Intusky is a rapidly growing company specializing in the development and manufacturing of industrial drones, and is pursuing an initial public offering (IPO) in recognition of its technological prowess and market potential.

Through this product development contract, SmartRadar Systems expects to be able to ▲develop and supply 60GHz 4D imaging radar sensors for front and rear collision avoidance for drone mounting and mission computer connection, ▲develop high-resolution 4D imaging radar optimized for agricultural drones, and ▲enhance performance through sensor fusion of 4D imaging radar and cameras.

Kim Yong-hwan, CEO of Smart Radar System, expressed his grand ambitions, saying, “Through this contract with Intusky for the development and supply of drone radar systems, we will accelerate the expansion of our market and strengthen our contact points with various industries, including the rapidly growing drone market.”

Jeong Seon-ung, CEO of Intusky, said, “This collaboration is significant in that it is an opportunity to further enhance the technological competitiveness of the domestic drone market and the full-scale commercialization of high-resolution sensor integration technology for precision agriculture.” He added, “Intusky plans to use this radar system to enhance the precision, safety, and operational efficiency of agricultural drones, and to use it as a core foundation for expanding domestic market share and overseas export strategies.”

Starting with this contract, SmartRadar Systems and Intusky will jointly develop 4D imaging radar products for agricultural drones until the end of December.
