'Startup Square', a private startup support space currently under construction in Pangyo 2, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, has begun conducting a demand survey targeting prospective entrepreneurs and early-stage startups.
This survey is the basis for future space allocation and customized program design, and practical support measures will be prepared based on the needs of participating companies. Startup Square is a dedicated space for startups and prospective entrepreneurs who have been in business for less than 7 years, and is located in Building B of Block G2, Pangyo 2, Geumto-dong, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do (within the new headquarters of Woowa Brothers). Tenants can use the space without paying rent, and the management fee will be set at the actual cost level, approximately 200,000 won per month for 2 people. Tenant companies will be provided with an office environment including basic interior design and furniture, internet, and firewall installation, and tenants can set up their own partitions and configure their own space.
You can register your headquarters, branch, or research institute business without any industry restrictions, and you must enter basic information such as the year of establishment, representative, team size, and industry through the demand survey form. Startup Square, which is currently being promoted primarily by the private sector, has announced a program that can provide practical help in the initial growth of startups beyond simply providing a space to move into.
Customized support from various angles is being considered, such as employee profile photography, press release distribution, global market verification (PoC) consulting, AI conversion and smart operation training, IR and investment attraction support. The recent trend in startup incubation space is the concept of venture studios, where startup support investors start businesses together with startup hopefuls and focus on providing services that support real growth along with low costs.
In particular, as demand for technology-based startups such as AI, global expansion, and smart operations increases, demand for support spaces equipped with relevant services is also increasing.
Venture Square CEO Myeongseung said, “This Startup Square will go beyond simply providing a space and will design a close-knit support program to help early-stage companies with high growth potential achieve real results.”
This demand survey will be conducted until May 21, and future tenant selection and program design will be based on the results of this survey. Startup Square is expected to function as a startup infrastructure that reduces the burden on start-ups and induces actual startup performance with close support centered on the private sector.
