Performance management solution startup Deweil announced on the 14th that it has supplied its continuous performance management solution ' CLAP' to the US branch of auto parts specialist SL (Chairman Lee Chung-gon). This introduction is the first case of global expansion since its introduction at the Korean headquarters last year, and expansion to overseas branches in China, India, Mexico, Brazil, Poland, etc. is planned in the future.
SL is an automotive parts company established in 1954, producing headlamps, electric components, mirrors, and FEM (Front End Module), and supplying products to many global automakers including Hyundai and Kia Motors. It currently operates 27 business sites in 7 countries around the world.
SL introduced 'CLAP' to respond to rapid changes in the automobile industry and to strengthen flexible collaboration and performance management between organizations in each field. Following the headquarters, CLAP is also being applied to the US branch, and a continuous performance management system is being fully operated, including real-time goal setting and performance checks, and periodic one-on-one feedback.
In particular, Clap's multilingual support function is an advantage optimized for SL's global business operations. The HR department can now apply consistent performance management standards to business sites around the world within the same platform without the need for additional translations or systems. This is explained as securing both communication efficiency and operational convenience.
Deweil CEO Koo Ja-wook said, “We are supporting global manufacturing companies to effectively spread their headquarters’ performance management culture to their branches in each country,” and added, “We will continue to provide customized performance management solutions that meet the needs of various global companies and contribute to spreading a performance-based organizational culture.”
