Busan Changgyeong, Kakao Mobility and Open Innovation Recruitment for Participating Startups

Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy) announced that it is recruiting startups to participate in the 'Startup Open Innovation Challenge 2025', which will lead open innovation together with Kakao Mobility , until the 27th.

'Startup Open Innovation Challenge 2025' discovers promising startups with the technology and services needed by large companies and provides opportunities for collaboration with large companies and market verification. It is Busan Changgyeong's representative open innovation program that aims to lead to future business partnership possibilities and is now in its 6th year. This is the first collaboration with Kakao Mobility and this year, we will look for a total of 2 startups with related ideas.

Any startup located nationwide and less than 7 years old that has ▲smart parking-related services ▲parking lot and indoor route guidance technology/services ▲other services that can be immediately applied to Kakao Mobility can apply.

The selected startups will undergo a verification process based on collaboration with Kakao Mobility's field team and then be provided with PoC (Proof of Concept) opportunities at Kakao Mobility's online and offline sites.

Each company will be provided with up to 10 million won in PoC support funds, as well as opportunities to stand on the pitching stage and open innovation events for future investment attraction success. In addition, they will receive intensive benefits through Busan Changgyeong and Kakao Mobility’s infrastructure, such as industry/investment company linkages and mentoring.

Startups wishing to participate can apply until the 27th, and will be selected through document evaluation and presentation evaluation. More information can be found on the Busan Changgyeong website.

Meanwhile, Busan Changgyeong is collaborating with Kakao Mobility, Lotte World, Lotte Construction, Lotte Welfood, Lotte Department Store, and Samsung Heavy Industries in this 6th period, and plans to continue to build new partners in the future.
