
AI cloud specialist Klaion Co., Ltd. announced on the 14th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Jeonnam Immigration and Foreigner Comprehensive Support Center to introduce a foreigner consultation support service based on the AI interpretation solution 'LXHUB'.
This agreement was promoted with the purpose of alleviating language barriers for foreign residents in Jeollanam-do and improving accessibility to administrative information by utilizing 'LXHUB (Linguistic Exchange Hub),' an AI interpretation solution based on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) developed by Klaion. The plan is to increase the convenience of foreign residents' adaptation to the local community and use of public services.
According to the agreement, both parties will cooperate in ▲ pilot operation of AI interpretation services for center visitors ▲ creation of a stable operating environment for LXHUB ▲ sharing of related information and data to support consultation for foreigners. The pilot service is scheduled to be fully operated from the second half of 2025.
Kim Il-soo, the director of the Jeonnam Immigration and Foreigner Support Center, said, “Through this agreement, we will support foreign residents to use administrative services without language barriers and lay the foundation for settling down in the local community.”
Park Yoon-ji, CEO of Claion, said, “LXHUB is an AI solution that practically solves language communication problems that occur in real-world settings,” and added, “We will work with more local governments and organizations in the future to contribute to eliminating the language gap in the public sector.”
