DS (CEO Ki-Jun Han) , a developer of defect detection solutions specializing in high-performance advanced semiconductor packages, was recently selected for 'KB Starters Singapore', securing momentum for full-scale global expansion.
DS has developed a defect detection solution called 'DeepSeers' that analyzes images acquired in real time through 2D and 3D-based optical systems using deep learning technology, and is supplying it to more than 15 major semiconductor post-processing companies at home and abroad. The solution is gaining attention as a technology that can measure minute deformations at high speed and be quickly applied to mass production equipment by implementing 3D measurement technology in addition to 2D image inspection, which is essential in the advanced packaging process.
In particular, 'DeepSeers' is evaluated to have directly improved the yield of OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) through technology that accurately classifies genuine and false defects based on deep learning after initial defect detection.
In addition, the paper titled 'Automatic Extraction of Detailed Areas of Interest for Real-Time Semiconductor Package Defect Detection' co-authored by CEO Han Ki-jun and Dr. Park Young-jin of DS Technology Research Institute recently won the Best Paper Award from the professional society 'Journal of the Korean Microelectronics and Packaging Society', thereby externally demonstrating technological expertise and research capabilities.
Through this program, DS plans to explore entry into the Asian and global markets, including Southeast Asia, and to gradually pursue global business opportunities through collaboration with local investors and companies in Singapore.

Established in May 2021, DS has been recognized for its technological prowess and quality by being the only Korean company to be selected as an innovative company at the Overseas Talent Innovation Competition held in Nanning, China in July 2024, while presenting solutions specialized in HBM semiconductor package defect detection technology. In April 2025, it was selected as a promising startup in the system semiconductor field for the '2025 Ultra-Gap Startup 1000+ Project' and is currently working with the Bank of Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation's D-Camp placement company.
