IL , a new technology materials specialist company, announced on the 13th that it will introduce Eight 's AI digital twin platform to commercialize all-solid-state batteries.
Accordingly, the two companies signed a business agreement, and IL will utilize Eate's AI simulation and digital twin technology to advance and optimize the design of all-solid-state batteries. ▲All-solid-state battery structure and material analysis ▲Development of deterioration and life prediction models ▲Through AI learning-based simulation automation, IL plans to collaborate with Eate on technology throughout the entire cycle, from battery material structure optimization to life prediction and mass production verification. Through this, it will advance the commercialization of all-solid-state batteries, secure new growth engines, and expand collaboration with large domestic and foreign partners and generate real profits.
All-solid-state batteries are next-generation batteries that will replace existing lithium-ion batteries, and are a key field in the future energy industry where global automakers and battery companies are competing for leadership. IL possesses core battery material technology through lithium metal-based cathode sheet technology, and plans to accelerate commercialization through the introduction of Eight’s AI digital platform.
IL is accelerating its entry into the lithium anode sheet component material field for all-solid-state batteries through technical collaboration with Gachon University. IL has successfully commercialized the nation's first simulation-based digital twin platform, 'NDX PRO', and is a company that has secured optimal design capabilities across industries including batteries, aviation, and shipbuilding.
An IL official said, “We expect that by combining our next-generation battery lithium cathode sheet material technology with our digital twin interpretation capabilities, we will be able to secure technological leadership in the all-solid-state battery market,” adding, “This will be an important turning point in securing mid- to long-term growth potential.”
