Green Plus, Pampam and 10.3 billion won smart farm construction contract signed

Smart farm specialist Green Plus announced on the 12th that it had signed a contract with agricultural corporation Farm Farm for the construction of a smart farm glass greenhouse worth approximately 10.3 billion won.

This contract is not a simple one-time contract, but the third contract that has continued since 2021, and the fourth additional contract is also in final discussions and is expected to be signed within the first half of the year. According to the contract, a large-scale glass greenhouse measuring 33,000 m² (10,000 pyeong) will be built in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do, and construction is scheduled to take place for approximately 8 months from June 15, 2025 to February 28, 2026.

In particular, the collaboration with Pampam is drawing attention as a win-win model between 'agricultural corporations and large corporations', and has already achieved substantial profitability and quality improvement results through existing smart farms. Through the smart farms constructed by Green Plus, Pampam continues to generate stable profits. In this way, Green Plus is suggesting the direction of development for the domestic smart farm industry by advancing the crop cultivation technology of agricultural corporations and contributing to the distribution and sales structure of large corporations based on its outstanding technology and construction capabilities.

Green Plus is expecting to improve crop productivity and quality by introducing an ICT-based automation system into glass greenhouses based on its own technology. In addition, the two companies are discussing additional cooperation based on this contract, and Green Plus plans to support Pampam’s leap to become a leading company in the domestic tomato market.

Green Plus CEO Jeong Sun-tae said, “Through this contract, we will not only dramatically improve the productivity of farms, but also contribute to the spread of smart farms in Korea,” adding, “We will continue to cooperate in the future to provide the best smart farms.”

Meanwhile, Green Plus is actively promoting K-smart farms' entry into the global market by conducting various smart farm export projects, such as the development and demonstration of smart farm IR blocking covering materials for the Middle Eastern market and the development of a North American and global automated vertical farm model, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
