Wicomet, '2025 Medical Simulation Center Consortium Regular Workshop' Partner Participation

Wicomet Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Jeong-hoon), which operates a healthcare solution related to CPR, announced that it participated as a partner in the '2025 Medical Simulation Center Consortium Regular Workshop' held at Yonsei University's Clinical Practice Education Center on the 29th.

At this medical simulation center consortium workshop, medical staff from 11 hospitals and medical schools across the country participated and shared the latest trends and evaluation methods in cardiopulmonary resuscitation simulation training.

The event began with an opening speech by Professor Jeong Hyeon-su, chairman of the Medical Simulation Center Consortium, followed by discussions on ▲'Basic life support training trends and evaluation', ▲'Advanced life support training trends and evaluation', and ▲the latest life support training methods.

Wikomet, who gave a lecture on 'Basic Life Support Training Trends and Evaluation', explained the training trends of 'basic life support' centered on chest compressions, artificial respiration, and use of automated external defibrillators (AED), and emphasized the importance of proper cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) methods and evaluation criteria.

In addition, Wicomet introduced a method for trainees to train themselves in CPR and AED usage through an app, Brayden Online, a CPR self-directed learning system currently in use at Severance Hospital, and a plan to more effectively support basic life support education.

Wicomet CEO Lee Jeong-hoon said, “It was a meaningful opportunity to provide a guide to the latest trends in basic life support education through the Brayden online service,” and added, “We will continue to strive to contribute to the development of simulation education.”
