Global logistics DX partner Colosseum Corporation (CEO Jin-soo Park, hereinafter Colosseum) announced on the 24th that its AI-based SaaS-type logistics solution 'COLO AI' won the Minister of Science and ICT Award at the '2025 New Software (SW) Product Awards'.
Colosseum is a startup that provides a wide range of logistics services, including e-commerce, large marts, franchises, food distribution, global cross-border, and Amazon FBA/FBM, by connecting domestic and international logistics centers, delivery networks, and automated facilities into a network. In just six years since its establishment, it has secured a logistics center network of 53 bases, including 41 domestic locations and 12 global locations, equivalent to approximately 80 soccer stadiums, and is growing rapidly.
'COLO AI' is an AI-based SaaS-type WMS (warehouse management system) solution developed by Colosseum. It is integrated with the Order Management System (OMS) to organically manage the entire logistics process from order collection to receipt and shipment, storage, settlement, and customer response (CS) in a single interface.
In addition, by collecting and analyzing massive logistics data in real time with a deep learning-based AI engine and automating and enhancing it, we are providing real results to our customers, such as increased shipping and return speed, reduced logistics costs, shortened work hours by about 50%, and recorded 99.9% inventory accuracy.
Along with this Ministerial Award, COLO AI also received the GS (Good Software) certification, a software quality certification system of the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA), and proved its technological prowess at the highest level in Korea in terms of quality, stability, and security. In particular, the intuitive user interface based on barcode scanning received excellent evaluations for being easy for anyone to use without relying on the skill level of the worker and for its ability to respond to exceptional situations.
It has also been recognized for its competitiveness as a global SaaS solution. COLO AI, which supports multiple languages including English, Japanese, and Spanish, has a field-friendly design that allows multilingual personnel to be immediately deployed to the site without separate training at the LA logistics center in the US. In fact, the accuracy of detecting picking and shipping errors in advance is over 99%, and new personnel can quickly adapt, so operational efficiency is also high.
Colosseum's strategy is to use AI in future core logistics processes such as picking, packing, and inventory replenishment to build a warehousing and module-by-module automation software system to maximize on-site usability and efficiency.
CPO Yoo In-hyung said, “SaaS-type WMS is more efficient in the global logistics market because it has a structure that allows for rapid technological response and flexible functional expansion,” and “Quantitative performance is also continuously improving, such as a 30% increase in the number of daily processed orders and a 70% decrease in administrator work time through AI analysis.”
Meanwhile, Colosseum was also selected as the finalist for the '2025 Global Powerhouse 1000+ Project' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. This project is a representative government support program to foster promising SMEs into global export leaders, and includes various support such as overseas marketing, buyer discovery, export vouchers, finance, and certification.
Based on this opportunity, Colosseum plans to accelerate the expansion of its solution market targeting global distributors and manufacturers in the U.S., Japan, Mexico, Canada, and Southeast Asia. It plans to establish logistics center partnerships in major bases in Asia and North America within the next three years and fully utilize its global logistics network.
Park Jin-soo, CEO of Colosseum, emphasized, “COLO AI’s awards and certifications are the result of our technological obsession with solving on-site problems based on data,” and “Our global SaaS logistics solution has the strength of being able to respond quickly to changes and flexibly to customer needs, so it will receive even more attention in the future.” He continued, “We will continue to lead digital logistics innovation centered on COLO AI and provide better services and innovation to our customers.”
