Jeju Center Holds 1st Audition for 2025 Strong Small Business Growth Support Project

Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Lee Byeong-seon, hereinafter referred to as Jeju Center) announced that it will hold the first audition for the 2025 Strong Small Business Growth Support Project (Long-lived Small Business Type) from April 28 to April 30 at the 111CM Complex Cultural Space.

The first audition for the Strong Small Business Growth Support Project (Long-lived Small Business Type), hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of SMEs and Startups), organized by the Small Business Market Promotion Agency (hereinafter referred to as the Small Business Market Promotion Agency), and operated by Jeju Center and the Small Business Hope Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Hope Foundation) as the organizer and cooperative organizations, is held for companies nationwide that have been in business for 15 years or more.

The Strong Small Business Growth Support Project is a project that seeks to foster strong small business owners by discovering small business owners with entrepreneurial spirit, craftsmanship, and creative items in accordance with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Likecon policy. The long-lived small business owner type is supported for companies that have been in business for 15 years or more.

The first audition for Jangsu Small Business Owners will feature presentations by 60 companies whose ideas have been selected, and 25 companies will be selected to receive business development support funds (up to 60 million won) per company. In addition, investment and loan consultations and export and distribution consultations will be held as side events to help Jangsu Small Business Owners improve and expand their businesses.

In addition, after the first audition, we plan to provide programs for growth as a Lycon, such as IR pitching training and insight trips, to the selected companies, and provide additional business support funds through the final audition.

Meanwhile, the complex cultural space 111CM, where the first audition for the Jangsu Small Business Owners is being held, is the Suwon Tobacco Manufacturing Plant, where 1,500 workers produced 110 billion cigarettes from 1971 to 2003. It is a symbol of modernization and has historical and spatial significance as it played a pivotal role in the national key industry for 30 years.

Jeju Center CEO Lee Byeong-seon said, “Following last year’s Centennial Store and Small Business Owners project, we will work to ensure that small business owners can run their businesses with pride through the Longevity Small Business Owners Project.”
