
On the 15th at 2 PM, the Ulsan Youth Support Center (Director Hee-cheol Cho) signed a business agreement with the Ulsan Youth Future Center (Director Chi-rak Jeong) at the Ulsan Startup Hub to promote support for youth in Ulsan.
This agreement was created for the purpose of establishing a close cooperative system between the two organizations to expand social participation and strengthen the foundation for self-reliance of young people in the Ulsan region, and to create a sustainable youth growth ecosystem through support for at-risk youth and linkage of various youth policy projects.
The signing ceremony was attended by center directors and other officials from both organizations, and after signing the agreement, discussions were held on practical cooperation plans through open discussion.
◆ Key contents of the agreement
- Strengthening support for at-risk youth: Operate joint programs for at-risk youth, including youth in need of family care, isolated and reclusive youth, encourage participation, provide counseling support, and strengthen cooperation
- Activation of youth participation: Linkage and cooperation with youth-targeting projects, sharing and joint promotion of youth program information, conducting joint campaigns using online and offline platforms, strengthening SNS promotion to expand youth participation in the region
- Network building and information exchange: Sharing information on youth support policies and programs, promoting continuous development through regular meetings and collaboration, and cooperating on joint research and policy proposals.
- Discovery and cooperation of new business: Review and promotion of new support projects for youth in Ulsan area, cooperation in expanding use and support of youth spaces, support and joint planning of youth-led projects
The Ulsan Youth Support Center is the hub of the youth policy delivery system and operates a youth space, providing an environment where youth can participate in policies and grow autonomously. The Ulsan Youth Future Center discovers youth (and boys) in need of family care and isolated and reclusive youth, and supports the practical independence of at-risk youth through the payment of 2 million won in self-care expenses per year, individual case management, linkage of five major services (education scholarships, housing, finance, law, employment), in-depth counseling, customized individual programs, and operation of group living homes.
Through this agreement, the Ulsan Youth Support Center will provide an integrated youth policy delivery system and services, and the Ulsan Youth Future Center will support individual case management and customized services for at-risk youth, which is expected to create a synergy effect for the growth and development of youth in the Ulsan region.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to further strengthen the integrated support system centered on youth and to cooperate to improve the quality of life of Ulsan youth and encourage them to settle down in the region.
Ulsan Youth Support Center provides counseling services by establishing a one-stop youth support system through the Youth Counseling Center (Gominjeomppang) program to help resolve various concerns of young people regarding mental health, employment, housing, and the law.
