
Unity (NYSE: U), a real-time 3D content creation and growth platform, will hold its global developer conference, Unite Seoul 2025, on the 15th at COEX in Seoul. At this event, domestic and international Unity experts will share various case-based technical sessions, the latest news, and engine roadmaps.
'Unite Seoul 2025' will kick off with a keynote session starting at 10 a.m. This session will be live-streamed on the Unity Korea YouTube channel, and will begin with a welcoming speech by Unity Korea CEO Song Min-seok, followed by an opening speech by Unity CEO Matt Bromberg on Unity's commitment to stability, performance, and cross-platform support.
Additionally, Adam Smith, SVP of Product for Unity Engine, will reveal a roadmap of major updates for Unity 6 that reflect developer feedback, and Sam Roach, Unity Partner Engineering Director, will demonstrate Unity’s enhanced performance with the latest real-time demo, “Fantasy Kingdoms,” using Unity 6.1, which is scheduled to be released at the end of April.
At this event, Mint Rocket CEO Jaeho Hwang will be speaking as a speaker to share his experience of trusting the Unity engine and successfully transitioning to Unity 6. CEO Min will share his experience utilizing the latest technologies in Unity 6, such as simplifying the lighting workflow through APV (Adaptive Probe Volume) and optimizing performance through Project Auditor during the development of the game 'Dave the Diver'.
Unity’s industrial application cases will also be presented. Min Kyung-joon, head of Unity’s Industry Business Division, will introduce Unity’s application cases in the automotive, manufacturing/construction, commerce, and medical fields, and Choi Jae-bok, lead of LG Electronics’ CTO, will present a case study of Unity-based vehicle solution development.
In addition, Trevor Campbell, Head of Demand Advertising Business Unit at Unity APAC, will introduce app business growth strategies and competitiveness through Unity Grow Solutions. There will also be a postmortem session on game projects, with the participation of Somi, an individual developer who recently won the Indiecade Narrative Award for 'Unsolved Cases', and Seo Nam-hyeok, Technical Director at Neople, who developed the mobile version of 'Dungeon & Fighter'.
In the 'Grow Track' sessions, Unity experts will present on a variety of topics including game business growth strategies, hybrid monetization methods, and ways to improve user experience, providing attendees with practical business growth tips.
The event will also feature a “Made with Unity” zone showcasing indie games made with Unity, as well as a “Hands-on Training” program where participants can receive hands-on feedback.
The main sessions of 'Unite Seoul 2025' will be available on Unity's official YouTube channel in May.
