Cloud & E, a cloud-based AIoT specialized company, was selected as an excellent company in the energy sector in the DIPS (Digital Innovation Promotion for Startups) category of the '2025 Ultra-Gap Startup 1000+ Project' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The 'Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project' is a government-led support program to discover and foster promising startups in 10 promising domestic industries, including system semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and future cars. Cloud & was included in this list of excellent companies in recognition of its technological prowess and global expansion potential in the field of intelligent energy management platforms.
Cloud& operates an integrated energy and facility management platform for buildings and factories based on its own cloud-based wireless IoT technology. This platform provides various functions such as real-time energy data collection and analysis, facility efficiency monitoring, carbon emission management, and remote control of multiple workplaces. Its characteristic is that it can be introduced without hardware replacement by connecting IoT devices to existing facilities. This method is recognized for its high practicality in industrial fields in terms of cost efficiency and scalability.
Currently, Cloud&’s technology is being applied to approximately 100 buildings and manufacturing sites around the world, including domestic distribution giant E-Mart, Thai distribution company Big C, and auto manufacturer partners. A pilot project targeting Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, is also underway, and it is being evaluated as contributing to improving energy efficiency and achieving carbon neutrality across the industry.
With this selection, Cloud& will secure various follow-up growth opportunities, including up to 600 million won in government commercialization support funds, global investment linkages, support for technological advancement, and collaboration with large corporations.
