The Korea Software Industry Association (Chairman Cho Jun-hee, KOSA) announced on the 15th that it is recruiting participants for the Youth Future Plus project hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor . The Youth Future Plus project is conducted for young people aged 15 to 34 who are Korean citizens and wish to work in the IT industry, and young workers with low years of experience working at small and medium-sized IT companies. It aims to support the entire youth employment cycle from employment to growth by collaborating with the industry.
Job-seeking youth receive ▲online aptitude tests ▲mentoring from industry experts ▲training tailored to desired jobs ▲employment consulting ▲employment linkage services based on participating companies. If job-seeking youth succeed in finding employment, they are transferred from the job seeker track to the employed track to support continuous growth.
Young people who transition to the employed track can receive ▲psychological counseling services ▲mentoring from seniors in the same industry ▲personal career path design (CDP) tailored to their current company, thereby helping them settle down in the workplace and strengthening their expertise.
KOSA expects that the Youth Future Plus project will greatly contribute to the supply and demand of talent and growth in the IT industry. A project official said, “Job-seeking youth will be recommended to companies where they can demonstrate their abilities, reducing the mismatch between talent and companies, and employed youth will be able to design their growth direction according to their current company, reducing the cost of talent development for companies due to frequent job changes.”
The Youth Future Plus project is recruiting applicants through its operating website , and through the site, you can check project-related information, a list of participating mentors, and information on participating companies.
