
Global transportation solution specialist Estrafic announced on the 7th that it is conducting a strategic collaboration with global IT company Cisco to develop AI transportation solutions. This collaboration aims to lead innovation in transportation management systems and maximize urban transportation efficiency by utilizing AI and IoT technologies between the two companies.
Based on its traffic data analysis capabilities, Estrafic plans to develop various solutions for real-time traffic monitoring and prediction, smart signal control, etc. by combining Cisco’s networking and security technologies. Through this, it will strengthen the basic technologies required to build smart cities and increase its competitiveness in the global transportation market.
Through this collaboration, Cisco plans to provide AI-based innovative solutions in the public transportation service sector, including domestic and overseas railway and subway smart stations. In addition, it plans to advance various businesses such as next-generation IT infrastructure solutions, smart station AI-based control platforms, and smart airports, and lead the AX (AI transformation) market.
Cisco, a global IT leader that is transforming the way organizations connect and protect in the AI era, presented security, networking, collaboration, and visibility solutions at Cisco Connect Korea 2025 and presented ways to strengthen digital resilience.
Estrafic specializes in building various transportation systems such as roads, railways, and airports, and is currently providing solutions worldwide, including in the US, Europe, and India. In particular, after successfully completing the Washington DC and San Francisco AFC (Automated Fare Collection) projects, it is expanding its business in the US, focusing on New York and LA.
