BASH Signs Business Agreement with Jetsenihe Technology

BASH, a character intellectual property (IP) licensing and animation production company, has officially announced its entry into the Chinese market.

BASH announced on the 1st that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Jetsen-Yihe technology industry, a subsidiary of Beijing Jetsen Technology, a Chinese listed company.

The business agreement includes proposals to jointly conduct business in three regions of China: Jiangsu, Shandong, and Guangdong.

BASH is a company that focuses on IP licensing and animation production with the character IP WASHZ, which was born from a daycare nap blanket laundry service. The WASHZ characters are composed of five individual characters. Each symbolizes the shape of detergent, water, a laundry ball, fabric softener, and soap bubbles. The characters go beyond simple laundry and convey the message of ‘I will wash all the dirty things in the world and purify the world’, delivering comfort and healing to modern people.

Jetsen-Yihe Technology Industry is engaged in animation investment, distribution, and IP licensing business. Its parent company, Beijing Jetsen Technology (SZ 300182), was established in 2000 and is a leading company in China providing digital media and broadcasting technology solutions.

Starting with this business agreement, BASH plans to introduce its character Washes to the global market.

In 2024, BASH participated in the Hong Kong Licensing Show, Licensing Expo (Las Vegas), and Asia TV Forum in Singapore through the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA), and received positive responses from Tencent, Alibaba (Youku), Medialink HK, Alpha Group, and Huasi.tv (a subsidiary of Beijing Jetsen Technology). Based on this, the Washes Character Contest will be held in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region in the second quarter of this year with partners in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, and Japan. The total prize money is 20 million won (USD 15,000).

A BASH official said, “Through this business agreement and APAC contest, we expect to make a full-fledged entry into the Asian market and move forward with a character IP that is loved by more people. We also look forward to collaborating with various companies.”
