Strata and Adsound Sign Strategic Business Agreement

Stra (CEO Yongho Kim), a company researching and developing AI voice technology, announced that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Adsound (CEO Yujin Kim), a voice actor recording company.

Stra has been gaining attention since February when it successfully launched its innovative platform, 'stra.ai', which can generate TTS (Text-to-Speech) in various languages with a user's voice using only a 30-second voice sample. Its technological prowess has already been recognized by many clients, with the company producing and delivering AI dubbing videos.

With over 25 years of history, Adsound has a specialized voice actor pool and dataset, and is prominent in the field of voice synthesis data recording. This MOU is for the two companies to combine their respective expertise and cooperate in developing a new type of voice platform where AI technology and voice actors can coexist.

The two companies' representatives stated, "We hope that the advancement of AI technology will go beyond simple job replacement and contribute to building an ecosystem in which fair profit distribution is achieved for creators," adding, "Through cooperation between the two companies, we will introduce a voice platform where humans and AI coexist within this year."

As job changes due to AI technology are emerging as a social issue, this agreement between Strawa and Adsound is expected to present a positive interaction model between generative AI technology and traditional content creators.
