Schaeffler Korea to Hold 'Supplier Day 2025'

Global motion technology company Schaeffler Korea announced on the 20th that it held 'Supplier Day 2025' at Fairmont Ambassador Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul on the 19th to strengthen partnerships with its partners.

This event was held under the theme of ‘New Beginnings: Sustainable Success – Together!’ and was the first Supplier Day since the merger of Schaeffler Korea and Vitesco Technologies. The event was attended by 60 Schaeffler Korea executives and employees, including CEO Lee Byung-chan, and 108 Schaeffler Korea and Vitesco partners, making it the largest event ever.

Through this event, Schaeffler Korea shared its business prospects after the merger with Vitesco and pledged to further strengthen its partnership toward the goal of achieving a climate-neutral supply chain by 2040.

In addition, Schaeffler Korea awarded its partners who achieved excellent results in quality improvement, cost reduction, technological innovation, and process improvement over the past year. Eight partners received awards in five categories, and the winners for each category are as follows: △Value Category – Jang In-sing Special Steel, DH Chemical Co., Ltd. △Agility Category – Seojin System, Daemyung Co., Ltd. △Innovation Category – Sungil M-Tech △Sustainability Category – Human Plus △Quality Category – Young Die Casting, Dong Eun Forging.

'Supplier Day' is held annually by Schaeffler Korea and is an important event that shares the direction of the Schaeffler Group, domestic purchasing policies, the latest technology trends, and market trends with partners and strengthens partnerships.

Schaeffler Korea CEO Lee Byung-chan said, “This Supplier Day is the first event held after the merger with Vitesco, and we focused more on strengthening partnerships. We also plan to strengthen collaboration with newly joined partners to achieve Schaeffler’s goal of a climate-neutral supply chain.”
