Happy Success, 'Happy Management University' 17th Entrance Ceremony Held

Happy Success, a non-profit organization sponsored by Hunet (Chairman Lee Eui-geun), held the 17th entrance ceremony for the 'Happy Management University' at the Orakai Cheonggyesan Hotel in Seocho-gu, Seoul on the 18th. About 100 people attended the ceremony, including Chairman Lee Eui-geun, Hunet CEO Cho Young-tak, and Alumni Association President Jeon Kyeong-guk.

'Happy Management University' is a free CEO course established by Hunett to spread 'Happy Management'. 'Happy Management' is a principle that the purpose of a company is not to maximize profits, but to maximize the happiness of stakeholders such as employees, customers, society, and shareholders.

Since its launch in 2016, CEOs from over 900 companies have completed this course and are introducing a happiness management system to their companies. It has become a hot topic by providing premium education for CEOs for free, and has established itself as a representative course for CEOs of small and medium-sized companies.

The 17th class selected 88 CEOs from around the country. The training course will be held online and offline every Monday for three months, and the tuition is completely free. The main faculty members include Lee Geum-ryong, Chairman of Coglo.com, Yoon Eun-ki, Chairman of the Korea Collaboration Promotion Association, and Lee Joo-ho, CEO of Gowoon World Cosmetics.

Kim Dae-seon, CEO of DI&T Co., Ltd., the 17th class who participated in the entrance ceremony, said, “I decided to apply because I thought that in a situation where the recession is prolonged, small and medium-sized business representatives with similar concerns could come together and share ideas for sustainable growth.”

“I am glad that there are many CEOs who are participating in happiness management,” said Cho Young-tak, CEO of Hunet, who gave the first lecture on the topic of “Happiness Management.” “I hope that the CEOs of the Happy Management University will create companies that are respected by the public and take the lead in spreading happiness management.”
