TeamViewer Partners with F1 Academy

TeamViewer, the global leader in remote connectivity and workplace digitalization solutions, announced a two-year partnership with F1 ACADEMY™, a women-only racing series that aims to increase female participation in motorsport.

This partnership follows the success of TeamViewer’s SheSportTech initiative, a program that supports women in sports technology, and aims to drive meaningful change by promoting and inspiring gender equality, while also providing customers and partners with unforgettable experiences at the race site.

Now in its third season, the F1 Academy provides 18 female drivers with an unprecedented platform to compete alongside Formula 1 (F1), offering them the best possible support to excel at the highest levels of racing. It also operates a global initiative to increase women’s participation in motorsports through the ‘F1 ACADEMY DISCOVER YOUR DRIVE™’, contributing to increasing participation both on and off the track.

As an official partner, TeamViewer shares this vision of solving the gender representation issues facing both the technology industry and motorsports. In particular, as the first technology partner of the F1 Academy, we will work to strengthen the capacity of more women to participate in the motorsports industry in various roles including drivers, engineers, and R&D.

Through this partnership, TeamViewer will provide customers, partners and the community with a unique opportunity to watch the F1 Academy races live. TeamViewer will also design special edition TeamViewer liveries and race suits to support the five round wildcard entries (drivers who have proven their skills in other series or drivers or teams who participate with special status). In addition to participating in all seven rounds during the 2025 season, TeamViewer will also participate in events of the Female Quotient, a community that drives meaningful discussions off the track and accelerates change in motorsport throughout the season.

Susie Wolff, Managing Director of the F1 Academy, said: “Our mission is to break down barriers both on and off the track and we are proud to welcome TeamViewer as an Official Partner to support us in this. TeamViewer’s various initiatives to increase inclusion in sports technology demonstrate their commitment to actively pursuing our vision. Together, we will support greater opportunities for women in motorsport and foster innovation both on and off the track.”

Oliver Steil, CEO of TeamViewer, said: “We are thrilled to become an Official Partner of F1 Academy. As interest and participation in the F1 Academy series grows globally, so too will the opportunities to overcome barriers and innovate together. We are proud to be part of this journey to make motorsport more diverse, inclusive and accessible, through F1 Academy’s racing series and grassroots initiatives like F1 Academy Discover Your Drive.”

Beyond promoting inclusion and diversity in motorsports, this partnership is significant in driving change across all sectors, as women embark on a shared journey to enter male-dominated fields.
