
Unity (NYSE: U), the world's leading real-time 3D content creation and growth platform, has announced the keynote and session lineup for 'Unite Seoul 2025.'
'Unite Seoul 2025' is a festival that shares the infinite possibilities of Unity, an 'end-to-end platform' that supports the entire development life cycle, as well as the know-how and insights to maximize its potential. It will be held at COEX on the 15th of next month.
The event will begin with keynote speeches by Unity’s global executives. Starting with the opening remarks by Unity Korea CEO Song Min-seok, Unity CEO and President Matt Bromberg will once again emphasize Unity’s commitment to the Korean developer community.
Next, Adam Smith, VP of Product, Engine at Unity, will present the latest updates to Unity 6 and the next-generation engine roadmap. Sam Roach, Director of Partner Engineering at Unity, will demonstrate the mobile-focused tech demo ‘Fantasy Kingdom’ on Samsung Electronics’ latest model, the Galaxy S25.
Min Kyung-joon, head of Unity Industry Business Division, will introduce various industry success stories, including human machine interface (HMI) cases through collaboration with global automobile companies. In addition, Choi Jae-bok, CTO Lead at LG Electronics, a major domestic partner, will introduce a case of utilizing Unity as an automotive solution.
Trevor Campbell, Head of APAC Demand, Ads Revenue at Unity, will present Grow Solutions to support the growth of mobile app and game businesses. He will introduce various strategies and know-hows for running a successful app business, from user acquisition to monetization, data analysis, and optimization.
In the afternoon, there will be approximately 40 technical sessions prepared by domestic and international experts, along with examples of Unity's use in the gaming industry and various industries.
Neople's Technical Director, Seo Nam-hyeok, will present a session titled 'From PC to Mobile: The Technical Transition Process of Dungeon & Fighter'. He will introduce the major technical challenges and solutions faced while developing the mobile version of the PC online game Dungeon & Fighter using the Unity Engine.
Yusuke Kurokawa, Unity Partner Engineer, provides a quick guide from downloading Unity source code to internal debugging. This is an upgraded session following the Unity Source Code Webinar that was very well-received in 2023.
Kim Min-hyeok, Unity Solution Architect at CyberAgent, Inc., a leading Japanese IT and digital media company, will present on the topic of 'Efficient in-house Unity project quality management strategy and optimization case,' and Kim Hyeon-jun, Manager at HD Hyundai Infracore, will lead a session on the topic of 'Customer experience VR platform for improving service capabilities, productivity, and ensuring safety.' Jang Young-jae, CEO of Daim Research, will lead a session on the topic of 'Factory and logistics automation system using physical AI,' explaining the concept of physical AI and introducing a case where Daim Research's logistics robot was applied at a Samsung SDI industrial site.
The on-site programs for indie creators, 'Hands-On Training' and 'Made With Unity Zone', are also attracting attention.
'Hands-on Training' is a session where you can receive hands-on feedback from Unity experts, and some sessions are so popular that they close early on the day of registration. This event will cover three topics: ▲Quickly Checking Unity Project Optimization ▲Creating a 2D Platformer Game with Unity 6 ▲Building a Network Game Using Unity 6's NGO (Netcode for GameObject).
The 'Made With Unity Zone' is a space where you can directly showcase indie games made with Unity to the audience. The project that wins first place through on-site popularity voting will have the opportunity to be selected for the '2025 Unity Awards' and a special program where Unity experts will directly assist with project development.
In addition, there will be a 'Demo Zone' where you can see technology demos, usage tips, and case studies directly introduced by Unity's game and industry experts, a 'Fireside Chat' in the form of a casual talk where indie game development veterans and Unity YouTubers answer questions from junior developers, and a 'Unite & Connect Job Matching Program' where Unity developers and companies or recruiting experts can freely communicate.
Song Min-seok, CEO of Unity Korea, said, “Unity is moving towards a world where more creators can freely use their imagination based on innovative ideas and technologies,” and added, “We hope that the various sessions and programs prepared at Unite Seoul 2025 will be helpful for the growth and launch of creators.”
